Hotel Terradets - Cellers

Booked last minute and was enchanted by the lake's fine beauty! The check-in was straightforward. There was a disorganization at check-in due to large groups arriving simultaneously. My room, a Beautiful Double or Twin Room, had a spacious layout with a comfy bed and a small balcony overlooking the lake. Ideal for relaxation! The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. But the buffet dinner was a letdown, with limited choices and some cold dishes. Noise from the cafeteria/bar affected my stay slightly, especially when I wanted to enjoy some peace. My experience was positive, with great views and kind staff, despite a few bumps. Would consider another visit to embrace the surroundings further.

The hotel's location was stunning, adjacent to public areas as well as a large lake.

We stayed at the Terradets hotel for a few days when we wanted to take a tour of the Congost de Mont-rebei. Although we were about 35-40 minutes from the departure of the tour, we chose this hotel because we found some pictures idyllic (especially the pool on the reservoir of Terradets). We were not disappointed, it seemed to us without a doubt the best of the hotel (among a list of exceptional things to highlight), for its spectacular views and for its length and depth (3. 8 meters at its deepest part)... Terradets hotel is located on the road from Tremp to Balaguer (perhaps this, location, is one of its few drawbacks as you need the car for everything). It has a great variety of activities to do (ideal for families) and facilities (swimming pool, paddle tennis courts, jetty for water activities in the Terradets reservoir, solarium, table tennis, games and reading room, among others). rooms are very correct. bathroom is spacious and, at least our room, has a whirlpool bath. double bed is comfortable, wardrobe is wide to keep all your things and most of the rooms have a terrace with a view to the reservoir and swimming pool (a pity, as I indicate in what we did not like, that we got a room with a view to the road). food service is another point that we would like to highlight. We were lodged in regime of lodging and breakfast (very abundant buffet with wide variety of pastries, sausages, several types of breads, milks, cereals, juices, bacon, pancakes... we go, almost impossible not to find something that you like) For lunch and dinner, hotel had three options: cafeteria (tapas, sandwiches, hamburgers), free buffet (for 15 euros for lunch and 17. 50 euros for dinner a wide variety of dishes to choose from that vary every day) and restaurant if you want to eat a menu or something more elaborate.

WIFI was very slow in the rooms. Having many rooms with (spectacular) views of the pool and reservoir, we were given a room overlooking the road. solarium was not operational

We liked its location with its excellent views of the Terradets reservoir, as well as its surroundings. The bed in the suite is impressive, one of those 2x2. The rain shower is also a plus. Overall it is a very cozy and well kept hotel. The pool is large. The staff is very friendly and attentive, they help you in any way they can.

The access to the reception and room area does not have a lift, you have to go up the stairs, and they are quite long. This makes access difficult for people with reduced mobility or for luggage to be carried up. The access to the main hall and to the restaurant has to be done from the outside and by stairs. The food in the buffet is varied but there are products that should be improved in quality. Aaah, the toaster should be on during the whole breakfast, since they stopped it we do not know why, which causes that it takes a lot of time to make some toasts.

EVERYTHING. location of the hotel is perfect. magnificent views and possibilities of excursions to nearby and beautiful places, wonder. being located at the foot of the Terradets Reservoir, calm is total and is ideal for a few days of rest and relaxation. It is true that we have been here twice and always in winter, so I cannot say if in summer the atmosphere will be more noisy, as most of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the pool. staff: waiters, receptionists, all very friendly and helpful, always ready to help and advise you on places to visit, possible routes.... any small complaint or problem is dealt with kindly and quickly. It has lounges, children's area, bar, solarium, restaurant a la carte, parking... An ideal place to which we will return in many more occasions.

It's not a complaint, it's just a suggestion. Our room was recently renovated, with a very current, clean and beautiful design. However, to our taste, it was impractical. It only has one wardrobe. We would have liked drawers on the bedside tables and on the desk to store small things, and more wall hangers for coats (considering that we were in winter). The bathroom was our weak point : beautiful, but with no space for anything. It would be nice to have some shelves under the sink to keep the toiletries, more hangers for the towels and other clothes, also shelves in the shower to keep the soap, shampoo, sponges.... and OVERALL, to put a bar on the whole wall of the shower, because it is huge, with a fixed screen that allows you to enter from one end and walk about four meters to the taps. When you finish showering, you realize that you have to walk to the exit with everything wet and without where to grab. From a recent experience of falling in the bathroom, getting out of the shower was a panic attack. We also miss a toilet brush. I repeat that these are our personal suggestions.

The views from my beautiful room were fine! I loved the spacious balcony overlooking the lake. The buffet breakfast had a fantastic variety. The pool was large and refreshing. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and inviting ☀️

A very well-organised hotel in an outstandingly peaceful and beautiful location. The range of food options was good, especially for energetic walkers who find it difficult to wait for normal Spanish eating hours.

Location by the lake with views of the mountains and it is on the road between France and Spain so very convenient when travelling north or south

To access the restuarant you have to go outside up and down steps. Not suitable for people with walking problems. The decor is rather dated

Should you go for it? My answer

Staying here was an unexpected joy! The amazing lake views leave a lasting impression. Room was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection. The large, refreshing pool was a perfect spot to unwind after hiking in the fine surroundings.

Dragging tables and chairs across the floor in the (dining area) under the room late at night kept us awake.
